However, Bridget felt that despite the pay check, getting that managerial job would be like she had never gone to college at all. 2.Prepare for counselling To prepare for counselling, select a suitable place. Schedule counselling in an environment that minimizes interruptions. This environment has to be free from distracting sights and sounds. Schedule the time. When possible, counsel a subordinate during the duty day. Counselling after duty hours may be rushed or perceived as unfavourable. The length of time required for counselling depends on the complexity of the issue. Generally a counselling session should last less than an hour. If you need more time, schedule a second session. Additionally, select a time free from competition with other activities and consider what has been planned after the counselling session. Important events can distract a subordinate from concentrating on the counselling. Notify the client well about the scheduled counselling in advance. The strike force reached its predetermined launching position in the morning of December 7th, and the strike began (Buchanan 72). Under vice admiral Chuichi Nagumo, the strike force was a strong and well organized group. Having two things in mind and that was wiping out the major part of the pacific fleet and to destroy all military aircraft (Morison 46). A total of 81 Japanese fighters, dive bombers, and torpedo planes were used in the operation. It was the most modern, highly trained and deadly naval force in the world (Spector 1). As the planes approached the harbor, an officer on duty detected them on the radar. He reported immediately to the office, but the person who received the report was inexperienced in the use of radar and confused the aircraft with allied planes which were expected to arrive that morning (Buchanan 73). So the Japanese planes were able to get to their target without any resistance. What made things even worst was that it was a Sunday morning and most of the officers were still in bed, and many senior officers and chief petty officers were on weekend leave (Morison 60). The first phase of the attack consisted of time torpedo and dive bombers attacking the battleships which were lined up in rows. The second phase was a series of high level bombing attacks on the harbor taking out military facilities and battleships that still looked undamaged (Buchanan 74). What made the attack seemed so easy was that the battleships were lined up in rows and the pilots knew exactly where they were, completely unprotected from torpedo attacks (Morison 59). Life Cycle of Fireflies and Lightning Bugs Fireflies, also known as lightning bugs, are part of the beetle family (Lampyridae),  in the order Coleoptera. There are about 2,000 species of fireflies worldwide, with over 150 species in the U.S. and Canada.   Like all beetles, fireflies undergo complete metamorphosis with four stages in their life cycle: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Egg (Embryonic Stage) The firefly life cycle begins with an egg. In mid-summer, mated females will deposit about 100 spherical eggs, singly or in clusters, in the soil or near the soil surface. Fireflies prefer moist soils, and will often choose to place their eggs under mulch or leaf litter, where the soil is less likely to dry out. Some fireflies will deposit eggs on vegetation rather than directly in the soil. Firefly eggs usually hatch in 3-4 weeks. The eggs of some lightning bugs are bioluminescent, and you may see them glowing dimly if youre lucky enough to find them in the soil. Larva (Larval Stage) As with many beetles, lightning bug larvae look somewhat worm-like. The dorsal segments are flattened and extend to the back and sides, like overlapping plates.
